Game Producer

Today we have a meeting as usual. In the meeting, everybody talked a lot things. But all of them are around of "Project Manager NOT Game Producer" - one of many HQ's comments when judge us - Local Game Producer in Vietnam.

At first, all of us have rated for ourselves, one by one. For me, I rated 5/10. Not good rating I think because I did not satisfy with myself. Many problems or stress I could not solve with low xp and skill.

For me, I think I have some bad points need to be improved:
1. Language Skill... (It is one of my bad points at this time). I understood that I am not good in language - Not enough words to explains my thinking or listening or understanding the others said. It could limit your work, your emotions and your self-confidence.
2. Vision, Perception and Methodological in Game Industry. --> The basic knowledge about Project Manager and Game Producer.
3. No XP --> As a new guy in Producer role, although worked as Producer position for a year, honestly I don't know and understand the process clearly. My decisions and work are dictated by feeling more than reason and logical. Local view will low vision is not a good thing for management at least.

In the end, what is game producer meaning? The Quality we want and need to keep?
